Assistant/Associate Professor of Biomechanics at Westmont


The Kinesiology Department at Westmont invites applications and nominations for a position at the assistant or associate professor level, with expertise in biomechanics, motor behavior and research to begin August, 2018. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in kinesiology or a related field and demonstrated excellence in undergraduate classroom teaching and research. She/he will be expected to maintain a research program involving undergraduates. To assist in this goal, startup funding will be provided, as well as funding for summer research students. Proven administrative skills would be a welcome addition for future service in the Kinesiology Department. We are seeking department members who are committed to the overall development of students, as well as preparation for future goals. The Kinesiology Department is highly regarded for its ability to prepare students for successful postgraduate study and meaningful careers.
